Mindful Monday

 
I am back again for another Mindful Monday!
 
Here is a recap from last week:

Here was my plan:

Monday: Hot Yoga
Tuesday: Chest/back and HIIT (running intervals)
Wednesday: Hot Yoga
Thursday: Legs/abs and HIIT (body weight exercises)
Friday: Hot Yoga
Saturday: Arms/shoulders and long run-6 miles
Sunday: REST

Here is what I actually did:
Monday: Hot Yoga
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday: Hot Yoga
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Hot Yoga
Saturday: 6 miles (59:59)
Sunday: Hot Yoga
Total time: 6 hours 20 minutes
Total miles: 6

Soooo I did not follow my plan very well, however I did still work out 5 days and they were all really great workouts! I want to try to incorporate strength training but I LOVE Hot Yoga and running. I also want to do an interval running day to keep progressing with speed. Here is what I am thinking for this week:

Monday: Hot Yoga
Tuesday: Jillian's 30 day shred
Wednesday: Hot Yoga
Thursday: Rest
Friday: interval run (30 min) and Hot Yoga
Saturday: Jillian's 30 day shred
Sunday: 7 mile run

Munchies:

I did not end up trying the recipe I planned last week but I did try this one: Baked Pesto Mushies with Crunchy Cashew Cheese. What was great was I got to use the pesto I made from our garden a few months ago. This week I am going to figure out something to do with a pomegranate I got from our Brown Box Organics delivery last week. Any ideas?
